Recycling

"Our first ERPNext went live with another vendor and it simply did not survive contact with a recycling plant. A standard bill of materials assumes a kilo in gives you a kilo out. Ours does not - input purity changes with every load, and one batch of sorted scrap yields several grades at once.

The system could not record that, so stock entries drifted, the floor team lost trust in the numbers and quietly went back to manual registers. When we asked for help, answers took days.

Exalix Tech rebuilt the process flow around our actual yields instead of a textbook BOM, sat with the floor team until they trusted what they were entering, and stayed reachable day to day. At over a thousand tonnes a month we can finally cost a batch properly, and the manual registers are gone."

Distribution

"In construction chemicals, consistency is the product. Our formulas lived in spreadsheets, and every so often somebody would run a batch off an outdated version of a recipe. If a contractor called about a bad lot, tracing it back to the raw material we had used was close to impossible.

The other daily fight was pricing. With over a hundred distributors on different schemes, manual invoicing meant discount errors, and discount errors meant payment disputes nobody could settle because nobody could prove what had been agreed.

The biggest benefit for us now is clarity. Earlier we had to call people to check stock or orders; today it is visible instantly across every warehouse, only the approved recipe can reach production, and pricing applies itself instead of being argued over. Krish Patel led the entire project and helped us digitise our complete business process smoothly and efficiently."
